She is survived by her son, Barry Joe Haak of Alvarado, Texas daughter, Deanna Jones and husband, Darron of Crowley, Texas grandchildren, Brandon and Bailey Haak, Blaine and Neil Jones brother Bill Morris of McKinney, Texas sisters Zelma Daniels and husband, Tom, of Purdon, Texas and Janice Hargrove and husband Glenn of Kennedale, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. Haak was preceded in death by her husband and parents sisters, Ruby Morris and Barbara Connally and brother, Wendell Morris. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She had an outgoing personality and had many close friends. Haak loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Her and her husband also served as foster parents. She had a heart for service and was involved in many activities such as mission outreach, teaching Sunday school and sponsoring youth group activities. Haak was a devout Christian and active Baptist. She worked as a bookkeeper for various companies until retiring from Texas Farm Bureau Insurance in Waco in 1999. She moved to Waco and after graduating from University High School, she married Billy Joe Haak in 1961. She was born in Navarro County, Texas on Mato Bill and Minnie Mae (Nutt) Morris.
